Tentang Open Trip Komodo
Open trip komodo merupakan gaya traveling yang mulai populer sejak tahun 2013 di indonesia. Lahir dari komunitas sharing cost, kemudian muncul lah konsep open trip di mana 1-2 orang mulai mengatur perjalanan ke destinasi tertentu dengan biaya jasa yang telah ditetapkan.
Seiring perkembangannya, sekarang banyak destinasi di indonesia yang memiliki paket open trip dari mulai sumatera sampai ujung timur indonesia, salah satunya adalah Labuan Bajo.
Open trip labuan bajo sendiri mulai populer sejak tahun 2016, yang diprakasai salah satunya oleh Indahnesia Tour. Sejak saat itu, open trip komodo semakin menjamur dan sekarang sudah lebih dari 100 operator yang menyediakan jasa paket wisata mengelilingi Taman Nasional Komodo.
Paket Open Trip Komodo Yang Tersedia
Pada tahun 2016, paket open trip yang tersedia sangat terbatas. Kenapa? karena pilihan kapal juga masih sangat terbatas, hal lain juga yang menjadi penyebab keterbatasan opsi open trip adalah karena pilihan maskapai yang belum banyak membuka penerbangan langsung ke Labuan Bajo.
Sekarang, paling tidak ada 3 paket open trip yang populer yaitu:
- paket open trip kapal reguler
- open trip kapal semi phinisi, dan
- open trip kapal phinisi luxury.
Perbedaan dari ketiga paket tersebut adalah dari jenis kapal yang akan digunakan.
Phinisi Vidi Liveaboard
Open trip ini merupakan tipe open trip kapal phinisi luxury, yaitu menggunakan kapal Vidi Liveaboard. Kapal phinisi yang beroperasi sejak tahun 2018 merupakan salah satu primadona open trip yang ada di Labuan Bajo. Kenapa? karena dengan harga yang terjangkau, kamu bisa merasakan sensasi berlayar menggunakan kapal phinisi legendaris dengan fasilitas yang mewah.

- Kamar sharing 4-5 orang: Harga 3.000.000 IDR per pax
- Kamar Private 2 orang : Harga 3.500.000 IDR per pax

A 3D/2N liveaboard that I will never forget! Visiting the Komodo Islands has long been a dream of mine. When I found this amazing opportunity, I did not hesitate. Very nice boat, outstanding crew, delicious Indonesian cuisine, and breathtaking views. Sitting on the top deck taking in the scenery, climbing mountain tops for amazing views, standing feet away from Komodo dragons, or snorkeling with giant manta rays… I don’t know what was my favorite part, but I had a blast!!!! 3 Days 2 Nights in the Boat that Felt too Soon to End, is probably the best short description I can give when being asked about how the sailing trip with Indahnesia Tour was. Every crew and new people we met during the trip was really friendly and super-helpful. So we were not worried with anything at all.
Here are some overview of what went great and why I encouraged you to go with Indahnesia to get the same amazing experience:
**BOAT and ACCOMMODATION**:
It was sailing boat (medium size, perfect size, because there are only two rooms) with one bunk bed in a capacity of 4 people in one room. The room is with airconditioner and has private toilet+shower room with heated water. So really, every time we finished playing in the sand, we simply could just take hot shower without worrying anything. Plus, the room is super clean just like hostel, so we could just enjoy. The electricity was also available at anytime for us to charge.
Beside the bedrooms, we also had one upper room to have some chitchat and to play some games or simply to enjoy the ocean. Yup, we even took naps there because it was super comfortable.
**F&B**
Food is super awesome! We never got hungry because snacks were provided at all time (it was the ones you can get from any convenient stores). I was quite surprised myself because I brought and bought my own snack, but they provided those already for us. I also thought there will be difficulty in having drink water, but they had some gallons of water for us to even make coffee or tea. In addition to that, the snacks they made offered such a taste! Twice they made this fried banana with chocolate and cheese (how yummy is that) and we had them just in time after we snorkeled.
The main courses? PERFECTION! I am not exaggerating here, the chef, he is very friendly, humble, and he kept on making good dishes with fish, chicken, veggies, and fruits. We were even welcomed with welcome drink (including fruits in it), continued with series of tasty meals.
**CREW & FACILITY**
We had smaller boat to go snorkeling or to some small beach – the crew was so helpful in anything. You can request certain style of photography to memorize your trip better 😉 You can even ask some spots that are not being covered by the trip.
In the last day of the trip, we had big waves coming, all of the crews are ready and standby – even calming us. The boat captain was also handling the situation greatly – all of us were so happy and very grateful to have him and the crew. To make the electricity working at anytime, we had engineer staying in the boat. Good job, Pace!

a friend recommended this place and i was amazed by their excellent service. the super friendly team welcomed me warmly and helped me organise the best and affordable deal for my open water diving course and a 3D2N with VIDI LIVEABOARD. We went snorkeling on some of the worlds most stunning reefs around komodo and some hikes full of wildlife. they were also super helpful when it comes to food and accomodation. very appreciated 🙂

We went on 4days 3nights Vidi Liveaboard, traveled with my 2 boys , 10 and 11 years old, and my parents, 70 and 69 years old. Each of us enjoyed the trip beyond we thought we would. The kids fished and snorkeled. My husband dove. I would say sitting down, enjoying the view was very relaxing moment for me.
