Renting a motorbike is the easiest way to get around Labuan Bajo, and a scooter starts at Rp 90,000 a day with us, helmet and rain jacket included, delivered to your hotel in town. Below is what is in our fleet, what the price covers, the licence you need to ride legally, and how to book.
What motorbikes can you rent in Labuan Bajo?
We keep a mix so you can match the bike to your trip:
- Everyday automatics for town and short hops: Yamaha Mio Soul GT 125, Honda BeAT 110, Yamaha Mio Z. Light, twist-and-go, easy to park. (See our Mio Soul GT 125 guide.)
- Bigger, comfier automatics for two-up or longer rides: Honda Vario 150, Yamaha NMAX 155, Yamaha Lexi 125.
- Trail bikes for rough roads to inland villages and waterfalls: Honda CRF 150, Yamaha X-Ride 125.
If you are not sure which one fits, tell us your plan on WhatsApp and we will suggest the right bike.
How much does it cost?
A matic scooter starts at Rp 90,000 a day, including a helmet and rain jacket. Hotel pickup and drop-off within the town area is Rp 30,000. We hold a KTP or passport as the deposit document during the rental. Daily rates by bike:
| Bike | Per day |
|---|---|
| Honda BeAT 110 | Rp 90,000 |
| Honda Vario Techno 110 | Rp 90,000 |
| Honda Vario 150 | Rp 100,000 |
| Yamaha NMAX 155 | Rp 175,000 |
| Honda CRF 150 (trail) | Rp 300,000 |
Other models like the Mio Soul GT 125 also rent from Rp 90,000 a day. Longer rentals can work out cheaper, so message us with your dates.
What's included
- Helmet and rain jacket with every bike.
- Hotel delivery and pickup in the town area (Rp 30,000).
- A bike that has been checked before it goes out. If something goes wrong mid-rental, you message us and we help.
Do you need a licence to ride in Labuan Bajo?
Yes. Bring your home licence, and ideally an International Driving Permit. Police do run checks around town, and travel insurance can be void if you ride without the correct licence. If you are unsure what you need, ask us before you book.
Which bike for which trip?
- Around town, the harbour, nearby viewpoints: any matic (Mio, BeAT) is plenty.
- Two of you, or longer day rides: a Vario 150 or NMAX 155 has more pull on the climbs.
- Rough roads to waterfalls or inland villages: take a trail bike (CRF 150). Sealed roads near the centre give way to broken track quickly once you head inland, so the right bike matters.

Most of our fleet is automatic (Mio, BeAT, Vario, NMAX, Lexi), which is the easiest to ride if you are not used to gears. The trail bikes are the main manual option.
